Who will Spend upon Ahlus-Sunnah?

Allaah Reminds us,

“And whatsoever you spend of anything (in the cause of Allaah), He will replace it. He is the Best of those who grants sustenance.” [Soorah Saba‘ 34:39]

The large amount of projects the da’wah centere conducts without a doubt takes great commitment from our volunteers. Unfortunately it is not the only factor involved in fulfilling the goal of giving da’wah. From the printing expense of da’wah pamphlets for street da’wah to the large costs of having guest speakers visit from across the world, money is an unfortunate necessity. We invite you to join our monthly donation list and contribute any amount of money you can whether it is $1 or $5000, we will not refuse you your right to rewards from Allaah. We urge you to support the Grand Islamic Center. Your support will assist in the continuing call to pure Islaam, Qur‘aan and Sunnah from the understanding of the pious predecessors. A call devoid of partisanship, politics and sectarianism. We are not funded by any government or organization nor do we pay any of our volunteers. Every penny of your donations will go towards the aforementioned righteous activities. Your help is needed!!!

Allaah says in his Noble Qur‘aan,

“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allaah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear is a hundred grains. Allaah gives manifold increase to whom he pleases.” [Sooratul-Baqarah 2:261]

The Prophet  (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said,

"Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all." [Related by Muslim (8/61)]

Those who spend in prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allaah loves Al-Muhsinoon (the good­doers).”  [Soorah Aali-’Imraan 3:134]

“And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities, etc., have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning).” [Sooratul-Mu‘minoon 23:60]

What Projects Need Support?

Grand Masjid & Grand Islamic Center

The 4000+ sq. feet facility in St. Louis, MOwhich offers a range of services, from them: 5 daily salawaat, Jumu'ah, classes for adults and children alike, Islamic courses, seminars, lectures, da'wah services, offices and workshops and the general benefits of a masjid, upon the sunnah.
Operating Expenese: $2200 per month (approx.)

Websites - www.grandmasjid.com - established in 2007, our site for Community Updates has grown to become one of the most accesible and updated knowledge bases for the area.

Operating Expenese: $40 per month (approx.)

Islamic Courses and Seminars-  From the major events, such as the upcoming conferences with the Mashaayikh of Saudi, Jordan and others, to the Weekends of Knowledge in various topics scheduled for every other month. The community of St. Louis has been blessed with the opportunity to host many premier events which we would love to broadcast (audio or video) to the international community viawww.grandmasjid.com in the coming years.
Operating Expenese: $15,000 per year (approx. cumulative cost of 3-4 events)

Regional and International Da'wah Material - The creation of da'wah pamphlets, available for Muslims and non-Muslims to be distributed around the world. This programm is struggling to be established.
Operating Expenese: $5,000 per year (approx. based on distribution of approx 20,000 various pamphlets including shipping)

Islamic Library Drive - The ongoing project of building an expansive Islamic library in every possible language, the library has been started but is in need of great expansion in all languages.
Operating Expenese: $4,000 per year (approx. 500 books per year)
